The A-Z Chicken Plucker is a drum-type defeathering machine. Scalded birds tumble against rotating rubber fingers, which remove the feathers in a short cycle, replacing slow hand plucking. It completes our poultry line together with the chicken stunner and scalder.

Applications

• Broiler and layer farms selling dressed chicken
• Poultry cooperatives and small abattoirs
• Hotels, restaurants and institutions processing their own birds

Engineering Features

• Food-grade rubber plucking fingers, easy to replace
• Rotating base plate and drum for even plucking
• Water spray inlet to wash feathers away during plucking
• Corrosion-resistant construction for wet environments
• Electric motor with belt drive and safety guards

Tip: plucking results depend on correct scalding. Read our blog article on scalding temperature and time.
