A-Z Manufacturing Wins 2nd Place in Manufacturing at the YouthConnekt Awards 2025
The YouthConnekt Awards recognise outstanding young Rwandan innovators and entrepreneurs who create jobs and solve real problems in their communities. The award recognises transformative and innovative projects for decent and productive jobs creation, and was announced by Rwanda's Ministry of Youth and Arts (@RwandaYouthArts).

Why A-Z Manufacturing was recognised
- Made in Rwanda machinery: flour mills, chaff cutters, Sombe (cassava leaves) machines, poultry equipment, dryers, cold rooms and limestone hammer mills, designed for local farmers and processors.
- Smart technology: Smart Uhira, our solar-powered smart irrigation system.
- Youth skills: 68+ young people trained in welding, fabrication and machine maintenance through A-Z Academy.
- Green industrialisation: about 30 tonnes of CO₂ saved every year, briquettes from wood waste and tools from metal offcuts.
Our journey
Founded in 2021 in Karongi by David Tuyishime, A-Z Manufacturing has built 200+ machines and served 3,000+ farmers. The YouthConnekt recognition joins our win at the iMali Agribusiness Challenge 2025 and our selection among the Top 6 ventures of WFP IGNITE 4.0.
